The Headquarters of the VPower Group is based in Hong Kong; the major Asian Financial Center. The manufacturing facility VPower Engineering (private) Ltd is one of the pioneers of generator set manufacture and marketing in Singapore.
In 1997, as part of our new, aggressive marketing strategy, the group set up VPower Holdings Co.,Ltd in Hong Kong; then proceeding to develope markets in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Mainland China and the worldwide markets with Hong Kong as the center. Right from the beginning, Group policy has been put particular emphasis on Human Resources, Recruitment and Training of highly skilled personnel; this fundamental focus on professional and energetic talent has permitted the sound and rapid development of the Group. The rapid growth and expansion of both the product range and the product sales backed by an unending search for perfection throughout our after sales service outlet structure led to the establishment, in 1999, of the VPower specialized electric generating set maintenance center covering an area of 3,000 m² in Shenzhen. In 2002, the Guangzhou sales branch was established; followed in 2004 by Beijing, Chendu and Fuzhou sales branches under direct Group management. In 2005, the major joint venture electric generating set maintenance & manufacturing facilities were set up in Nanjing and Qingdao. In 2006, overseas sales branches and service networks in South Africa, Venezuela in South America, Uzbekistan in Central Asia were created.
By this time, the market penetration throughout the Eastern, Western, Southern and Northern regions of China had been completed along with overseas markets. The completed sales and service networks are designed to meet the highest technical and service requirements of our customers. Successful teamwork throughout all levels of the Group contributed to VPower being awarded the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System Certificate of the British BSI in 2005, and being granted the TLC Product Certificate of Network Access License of The China Communications Administration under the Ministry of Information Industry of the People’s Republic of China; further contributing to the sound structure for sustained and steady development of the Group while guaranteeing a stable basis for maintaining our reputation for Quality and Service.
The Group maintains a “personnel oriented approach” constantly challenging ourselves to ensure the appropriate personnel for meeting differing customer requirements in their specific markets. The overall VPower Manufacture, Sales and After Sales service concept has been welcomed by many famous companies across the world. The Group has been nominated as O.E.M. by Komatsu Japan, Cummins U.S., Doosan Korea, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Japan, Daimler MTU Germany, Newage Stamford U.K., Leroy Somer France, CSR Ziyang Sunfull and Fenxi Siemens China. VPower products are well accepted in many varied sectors: railways, militiary, communication, oil industry, hospitals, mining, financial institutions, hotels, manufacturing facilities and highway construction.
VPower has become the principal supplier of electric generating sets and relevant products for the China railway system. Since 1995, the group has supplied over 3,400 generating sets to the railway network. Qinghai-Tibet railway is the engineering representative of the West Development strategy in China (Beginning in Xining, the capital city of Qinhai province in the east, to Tibet, with the final destination being the capital city of Xizang Autonomous Region in the west; with a total length of 1,956 km. It is the longest plateau railway built at the highest elevation in the world; with one 960 kilometer long section from Gomud to Tibet where the elevation is above 4,000 meters; the very highest elevation being across the Thanglha Mountain section at 5,072 meters.) As the sole supplier for the generating set used at the generating car on Qinghai- Tibet railway, Vpower Group has contributed its effort to the building and opening of railway traffic through the supply of fifty-two 1,500 KVA generating sets and five 1,500 KVA outdoor generating stations without guard, being fully automatic.
The manufacturing facility located at Songgang Town Bao’an District Shenzhen, employing the latest technology, was put into operation in May 2007; it covers an area of approximately 16,000 m². The factory design incorporates a wide span steel construction, including variable size sheet-metal processing machines, a 30-ton travelling crane, automatic CNC Punching Machines, CNC bending machines, CNC shearing machines, surface handling facilities such as automatic powder spray line, paint spray booth and large-size spray booth. The Test Bay includes resistance testing equipment for both high &low-voltage generators up to 4,000 kW. The new factory has capacity for large batch production ranging from 20kw to 4400kw generators be they the traditional open type , sound attenuated, outdoor weatherproof (fixed, mobile or vehicle mounted) together with high/low –voltage paralleling/synchronizing panels, AMF panels and LV/MV distribution panels.
